About 8Oaks Recovery

Our Mission

The 8 Oaks Recovery is a Christian-based program. We offer treatment services to adult males between the ages of 18 and 65. Our addiction treatment offers a unique approach that combines clinical and spiritual work.

We offer 30, 60, and 90-day treatment programs in a relaxing, rural environment. Our facilities are located on a 68-acre farm in southern middle Tennessee. Our residents begin their journey to sobriety surrounded by beautiful rolling hills and waterfalls. Amidst the peaceful serenity of sober living on our farm, they will discover who God created them to be.

Treatment services include group therapy, individual counseling, and Christian 12-step meetings. Our combination of sober living and high quality, cost-effective outpatient services allow men to free themselves from substance abuse and the suffering it causes.

Join us because no one has to be an addict or alcoholic for the rest of their lives. Freedom is forever!

Our Story

The Reverend David Morgan started 8 Oaks in 2012. He started the program to help those suffering from substance abuse in the local church and community. Participants received one-on-one discipleship and counseling.

It wasn't long before the need for help was so great that volunteers were needed to assist with the program. In the years that followed those early days, 8 Oaks Recovery was formed. As more participants joined the program, the 8 Oaks greatly expanded the services by Reverend Morgan and the program volunteers.

Today, 8 Oaks serves the community with outpatient and sober living services. We also conduct intensive outpatient therapy and group therapy in the Lawrence County Correctional Facility. Even as we serve our community today, we are looking toward the future and rapidly expanding our services to meet the challenges ahead.

As participants begin their journey to hope and healing, we celebrate God's unique plan and design for our lives as a gift. It is a gift freely given and withheld from no one. We believe there are no past mistakes or failures that disqualify anyone from freedom in Christ.
