What to Expect
Our facility offers Christian-based intensive outpatient treatment and a sober living residential facility. The program consists of guided group and individual therapy with licensed Christian drug and alcohol counselors, licensed mental health therapists, and experienced pastoral spiritual development. You can learn more about the staff on our about us page.
We offer 30, 60, and 90 day live-in treatment options at our sober-living facility. We also provide treatment services at our outpatient facility. The live-in and outpatient options allow us to treat local residents as well as those outside of the Lawrence County area. We are accredited by The Joint Commission and licensed by the State of Tennessee.
We understand the importance of ongoing support after treatment. That's why we make discharge planning a priority. The planning process begins on admission and continues through the completion of the program. Everyone receives a discharge plan prior to leaving The 8 Oaks. The discharge plan includes 12-step work with a Christian focus and involvement in your local church. We may also recommend clinical treatment for additional support after treatment. You can learn more about discharge planning and care on our After Rehab page.
Yes, it is. This is a Christ-centered treatment. The program was started in 2012 by Lead Pastor David Morgan of United Church. He started on his own helping those in the local church and community suffering from substance abuse disorder. He provided one-on-one discipleship and counseling to those seeking help. The program grew quickly with the help of volunteers. Throughout its history, 8Oaks has maintained its faith-centered treatment approach.
Yes, we do. We accept most private HMO and PPO insurance. We are also contracted with Veteran's Affairs (VA) and accept VA referrals. For those seeking cash payment options, ask about our flexible options.
